Conference: Knowledge infrastructures and digital governance

The conference, “Knowledge infrastructures and digital governance: History, challenges, practices” will be held via Zoom on the afternoons of September 7th and 8th.

The conference is organized by OPERAS (Open Scholarly Communication in the European Research Area for Social Sciences and the Humanities), and aims at revisiting digital knowledge infrastructures from an organizational and governance perspective, through their history, their stakes and achievements, as well as their challenges and obstacles.

Participants will have the chance to explore how these infrastructures frame themselves, evolve and adapt, how they stimulate participation and implement innovative models of governance as well as how they create a shared culture, common values, how they sustain knowledge commons and may contribute to a new epistemology and scientific environment.

Please register to receive the Zoom link by sending an e-mail to Valérie Schafer (valerie.schafer@uni.lu) before September 5th, 2020. Speakers will be registered automatically.
