The 5th edition of the ArtTech Forum, organized by the ArtTech Foundation collaboration with Sabancı University, Istanbul, will be held with a hybrid format on September 28th.
The 5th edition of the ArtTech Forum will bring together representatives of international organizations from diverse backgrounds, who will present their contributions to the cultural and creative industries. The program will highlight Turkey, and more broadly the Middle East region, as a very rich ecosystem in the field of cultural and creative industries, not to mention the extraordinary heritage of the region. dhCenter member Patrick Michel has notably organized, and will take part in, a roundtable on “Heritage preservation and technologies, focus on Turkey and region”, moderated by Zaki Aslan (ICCROM).
With a hybrid conference format based on a platform developed by a Swiss StartUp, Wyth (Ticino), the organizers aim to maintain the sense of belonging and to encourage networking and active participation. The 5th ArtTech Prize will be awarded to one of the 8 innovative startups selected by an international jury, and a special session will also be dedicated to 4 start-ups among the 32 selected since 2017 to participate in the ArtTech Prize.
The ArtTech Foundation, founded in 2017 by a group of academic researchers and business leaders in Switzerland, aims to break down barriers between the creative, academic, scientific and corporate worlds to help the arts and culture to adapt and thrive in a digital age.
