Trained as a software and machine learning engineer, Semion Sidorenko then branched out into the field of social sciences and is currently a doctoral student at EPFL’s Laboratory for the History of Science and Technology. As part of his PhD thesis, he combines ethnography and critical data studies in order to study data practices in public administration.
