Benedetta Salvati is a PhD student at the French Departement (medieval) of the University of Lausanne in a co-tutelle with the École nationale des chartes of Paris. After graduating from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in Romance Philology, she joined the Medialiterature team led by Prof. Estelle Doudet, in which she is responsible for the Scholarly Digital Edition of the Chronique Abrégée (1488-1546) by the Burgundian poet Nicaise Ladam. Her interest lies primarily in Middle French immediate history and occasional poetry, as well as in methodological and practical issues and approaches in Digital Scholarly Editing. In the field of Computational Philology, her research focuses mainly on Machine Learning and Analytical Modeling.
