dhCenter member Sarah Kenderdine, head of the EPFL Lab for Experimental Museology and director of EPFL Pavilions, has been named a “Digital Shaper” of 2021 by Bilanz, in cooperation with Handelszeitung, PME, and Digitalswitzerland.
The Digital Shapers list names the top 100 drivers of digitization in Switzerland. Kenderdine was honored in the category of “Creatives” for her pioneering work on interactive museum exhibitions. These immersive exhibitions “mix real and digital objects” in order to create “living archives” that both create novel museum experiences for visitors, while protecting cultural heritage sites from damage related to mass tourism.
Kenderdine was also featured in Bilanz’s 2o2o list of Digital Shapers.
