Call for contributions: Humanités numériques issue 5

The open-access francophone journal Humanités numériques is now seeking submissions for its fifth edition

Created in 2020, Humanités numériques is a biannual digital journal distributed in open access. It publishes French-language works that explore digital transformations of knowledge. The journal is edited by the Humanistica association, which supports the development of digital humanities.

The theme for the fifth edition, which is expected to be published in January, 2022, is « Enseigner et apprendre les humanités numériques » (“Teaching and Learning Digital Humanities”). Submitted articles are invited that address the relationships between digital humanities, teaching, and learning in the following directions:

  • Analysis of educational projects in the field of digital humanities, in a strict sense or in a broader sense of training in digital culture in the social sciences and humanities
  • Exploration of curricula from a socio-anthropological or didactic angle
  • Theoretical approaches addressing questions of education through the lens of digital humanities.

Historical approaches, comparisons between different ways of considering the digital humanities, as well as comparisons between projects carried out in different geographical areas are of particular interest.

Those who wish to submit to this edition are invited to submit their full articles online by April 12, 2021. Authors keep their rights to submitted articles, which are published under a Creative Commons (CC BY) license.

Questions can be directed to Michael Bourgatte (m.bourgatte@icp.fr ) and Laurent Tessier (l.tessier@icp.fr), or the management committee of the journal (journal-humanites-numeriques@humanisti.ca).
