RPSF: Call for papers on ‘the experiences and consequences of confinement’

The francophone journal Revue des politiques sociales et familiales (RPSF) (Social and Family Policy) is seeking submissions for a special thematic issue on ‘Habiter son logement : expériences et conséquences du confinement’ (‘Living at home: the experiences and consequences of confinement’).

This issue will explore the uses of private spaces under conditions of pandemic confinement from three perspectives:

  • Confinement as an indicator of inequalities and tensions
  • The (re)discovery of housing uses
  • Confinement as a trigger for change or for the extension of previous lifestyles

Authors are invited to submit an article title, with an abstract of about 200 words, keywords indicating whether the proposed article is a scientific paper or a review/statistical paper, as well as a brief biographical note, by November 1st, 2020 to the editor-in-chief of the journal (rpsf@cnaf.fr) and to the coordinators of the thematic issue Elsa Ramos (Université de Paris-CERLIS), Claude Martin (CNRS), and Catherine Bonvalet (French Institute for Demographic Studies, INED).

Created in 1985, the RPSF  is a quarterly, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed scientific publication. It publishes original research work in the field of family and social policies, as well as on developments affecting the family, childhood, youth and parenthood. The journal accepts articles from any discipline in the humanities and social sciences.
