DH Fellowships at the Fondazione 1563 in Turin

The Fondazione 1563 per l’Arte e la Cultura in Turin, Italy, has launched a competition for five fellowship grants for advanced studies on the Age and the Culture of Baroque.

The theme of research proposals for the 2020 competition is “#Digital Baroque/#Global Baroque”. The 2020 Fellowships made available by Fondazione 1563 will focus on proposals concerning the study of Baroque through or thanks to digital means in a global historical perspective, with special emphasis on the exchanges that have led to the creation of a globalized world.

The fellowships are open to researchers born after 1st January 1982, holding a doctoral degree or an advanced or master’s degree issued by Italian universities or equivalent degrees from foreign universities. The deadline for applications is August 31st, 2020 at midnight CET. The list of winners will be published no later than November 30th, 2020.

The Fondazione 1563 is a cultural foundation specializing in support for research in the humanities. It is aimed especially at young scholars who wish to further their professional preparation for careers in the cultural sector.
